2017 DMP question regarding durability (couldn't find an existing thread)

Can you wear these to play ball in? My son plays for a school that has gold in their colors and would like to get these for him, but want to know if the shoes can handle it. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if I’d risk it...Maybe casually but for actual use on the court I don’t think they’ll hold up that well...Try it but have some spare shoes on hand just in case...

Yeah, XIIIs and XIVs are at/near the top of the list in terms of viable ball sneakers from the Jordan Retro line.

As long as you don't end up getting in a package with bad QC issues and they fit his feet well, they should work fine.

unless your son plays with so much torque and explosiveness, comparable to an elite athlete, i'd say yes, he should be fine...oh and happy fathers day to you. I know you're one proud father.
