For arguments sake, a "#1" on a bad team is not the true definition of a #1 in this conversation, which is someone capable of bringing a team to a Championship level and not the 8th seed of their conference, at best.

If you want Klay to "be his own brand" and lead a team to a chip, he would then have to join a team with another #1, much like KD and Curry and Lebron and Kyrie are all #1s.

Klay goes to New Orleans and teams up with A.Davis, they're both "number 1's" because Davis would avg 25-12-3, while Klay would avg 27 and make 300 three's in a season.

Klay teams up with Westbrook, Klay still scores over 25 a game. Klay teams up with CP3 and Griffin, and Thompson most likely leads the Clips in scoring.

Minnesota.

Klay as a #1 option would probably be similar to what Booker is doing in PHX but more efficent.
Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.......ellllllllllllllllll naw!
Klay's skill set isn't near Bookers.

Booker can create off the dribble against elite defenders.
Klay isn't putting the ball on the floor vs, hell vs an average defender, if he's asked to do it over and over, ober an extended period of time.

Shake and bake, just bake, Klay.

Booker can pass, shoot or dribble.
Klay has to pass or shoot.

Any team he joins will already have a #1, doesn't mean he won't take that over. GSW as a prime example. KD is #1, when Curry used to be. Cream to the top.

This highlight video shows Klay at his best, doing it all. Btw, this was before Durant came to town and Igoudala was sidelined. This is Klay as a true number one option.

scoring off dribble drives, scoring off spot ups, dishing assists from the low post, leading fast breaks, creating off screens, getting assists while handling the rock at the top of the key, igniting fast break opportunities with tenacious defense, bringing the ball up on one side of the court and getting to the elbow on the opposite side for a pull up jump shot, catching an alley oop with one hand jumping off one leg for the dunk, etc etc

you trippin bruh...the jury is still out on devin booker due to his youth. looks nice and **** with a decent handle but he is the quintessential high volume shooter. reminds me of a less efficient monta ellis

#KlayDaGawd

that's my boy, he makes the warriors an exceptionally better team...but i still don't see him as a "#1" :lol

The jury is not still out.

He's young yea, that's what happens when your um, Young.

I just think comparing those two and saying Klay is that, just more efficient, is way off. Klay is not that.

Give me Booker and I'll wait until he's Klays age.

Basically, out then both in front of me as Rookies and there is no question it's Booker.

Put them both in front of me now, today....and skill set to skill set its Booker.

If lebron pulls off this 3-0 comeback is he no doubt the best ever no questions asked??

And we'll wait until Klay isn't second, now third fiddle on a team. He doesn't have the luxury of being on a bum squad like Booker yet, to fully standout on the court...Hell, he's done it despite his teammates, but regardless....the jury is still out on this conversation.

He's still in the conversation, regardless. Take this lame *** poll question to ESPN management. Sounds right up their alley.

I'd like to see Klay end up in his own "Dallas" situation, 100%

(And not because GSW would be worse or less or whatever)

No he's not. He really shouldn't have been in it anyway.

What if Klay was theoretically on a team with PG13? They both could share that #1 status.

Y'all sleeping on klays defense ... booker will never be the defender klay is EVER...

Put klay with the suns he would probably break kobes nba record in points in a game...

F wilt show me some footage of that 100 point game

I see nothing has changed around here.

Something ridiculous gets posted and there's a 6.5/8 chance it comes from a Laker fan.

besides being able to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot (that tends to miss more often than not), tell me how booker's skill set is currently better than Klay's?

People rarely see defense. Automatically underrated when it's the case, because it's just not viewed the same.

like i said in the warriors thread, he won't. game 5 won't happen just like a comeback wont.

he and the cavs already pulled off the improbable last year and delonte west is now a proud father...something something lightning not striking twice.

2012-present is what? Inadmissible evidence? :lol

Go ahead and rewrite that sentence because as it stands, that **** is ridiculously ignorant.

MJ is the GOAT. Bron's failure in 2011 effectively took him out of that conversation. Last year brought the media back to entertaining the thought. This year removes that thought forever. It's over.

True. Lebron is on Magic's and Kobe's level.
