:rollin

the olympics just aint **** huh? thats a drew league trophy huh? don't nobody care huh? you left the stickers on ya fitted to type that didnt you?

Yo Idk why this is so funny to me :lol

Only one  sweep possibility remaining...

...Cavs on the back end.

The Cleveland Lebrons in 7!

Draymond >> Odom

Playmaking goes to Odom but it's photo finish

Defense and leadership draymond blows him out of the atmosphere and to the next dimension where he was after the ranch

Yeah Odom was more talented but he ain't never max out. Odom shoulda made a few all star teams but he was never consistent. Part of the reason he moved to that 6th man role.

A gold medal was less than $600 in '16.

Not to knock the accomplishment of an Olympic medal but I rather have an NBA ring. NBA comp > Intl Comp and the way this country is and has historically been, I wouldn't play for it.

Serious question: What is the consensus on Melo's career, given his expectations earlier in his career? Underachieved, Overachieved, or Spot On?

When it's all said and done Melo will be in the hall of fame, so I think spot on.

Ball hog... wrong era with team ball ... would have thrived late 90s early 2000s when all you needed was one main scorer

Just seen that barbershop talk with Lebron James and draymond ...

Lebron was spot on with the whole tom Brady thing ... he can't be best athlete if he is only on offense ... if anything best athlete should go to either Barry bonds or Lebron

How you going to say that then throw up Lebron.  Dude is just a glorified linebacker right now just roaming free on the defensive end playing that Kobe defense.

If you only look at Melo's numbers & accolades, he's had a damn good career.

I don't think it's fair at all to compare him to LeBron

Based off of his expectations earlier and where he is now, Underachiever. He's always wanted a ring. In the NBA, isn't that the end all be all, a piece of hardware? By no means am I deminishing all of his other accolades because they are all great feats as well. Melo was one of my favorites when he was back in Denver, but while some of his counterparts from the same draft class improved their game, it's like he stayed one dimensional, which is why he's in the same purgatory he's in now. He's even had some great pairings (Birdman, Iverson, Nene, Smith, Billups, Martin just to name a few) in Denver but still couldn't capitalize. That 2008 squad he had was stacked. Those "Beat LA" chants still ring loud in my ears. He's got to change his game though, invoke a team mentality. I'd say Carmelo probably shot to stardom/notoriety faster than Lebron, but fizzled out long before James. Melo kept running into the Mamba repeatedly, the Spurs a few times as well.

Take out lebron and the warriors win the series in game 3 haha

Odom was more gifted than Dray for sure.

But Draymond is the defensive anchor for an all time great team.

Gotta give him the nod.

You would think Melo got caught driving, smoking weed with his lights out, and dumb strapped with body armor on...

Slightly underachieved. Should have just stayed in Denver.

Melo's wasted the backend of his prime on a bad knicks team that he cripled and forced his way to. All in all....first ballot hall of famer and one of the best scorers we've seen.

***** made me a lifelong nuggets fan....so salute to Myrtle Ave Melo :hat

To this point, who's career would you rather have?

Bosh or Melo?

Funny how LeBron took shots at Brady, when we know damn well TB12 never even thinks about LeBron James.

Melo. While bosh won rings...nothing worst in life than health problems and having to stop doing what you love because of it.

Melo wins that battle. Potential & possibility is where it's at.
