Why trap Steph? Throw doubles at KD and tire him out. Force Steph to beat you.

Jazz had a better defense then the Cavs. I think the warriors will be alright.

Force Steph to beat you and he is going to win finals mvp. Not a good strategy.

I mean 9 times outta 10 steph completes that pass. Ish happens. I see what shoeking says and I agree.
It's not as if Steph tried some ish he has never done before. Steph is a great passer. It was just a mistake.
Exactly.

To try and tell steph to make the simple play is taking away from who he is. He's made that pass thousands of times.

Not gonna jump on him because this one time, it was a tad bit off. That's dumb. And it didn't even lose them the game.

I want my guy to be himself at the most critical of times, make or miss, turnover or not. If steph was playing safe I would be even more upset than him not turning the ball over. You want steph to make the simple pass that's fine, just make sure you want steph to make the simple pass every other time as well, and take the simple shot, and to not try anything radical because, "It's game 7 its a big moment" blah blah blah blah just BS

Yea' trapping has been Cavs best weapon these Playoffs, good way to get cooked this series. Wonder what Lue has planned if anything

9 times outta 10 seems generous. Seems like we see him miss on that pass all the time. We ain't exactly talking about Magic Johnson out there.

Switch on everything, no open 3's, and win the rebounding battle by a large margin.

A big point of emphasis for Ty Lue over the past couple of days per him has been relocation 3's. The offensive rebound 3's, the 3's where steph gives up a shot but keeps moving into another open 3, etc.

That's the only way. Only problem is you prone to being killed on the boards if TT is switched out on the perimeter.

9 times out of 10 is indeed generous and that's a bit facetious but the general gist of it is that steph is a high risk player.

You can't wait until game 7 of the finals to say "You know what, Nowww you gotta be careful with the ball. Now you have to play safe, etc."

I just don't get the uproar over a play that's indicative of who he is as a player. It just missed, and like I said it didn't determine the game. Did the cavs even turn that play into points?

Which is why they're screwed tbh lol

I'm being deadass when I say the only way cleveland can win is if the warriors as a whole are missing enough 3's for it to matter along with them making 3's and kyrie and bron playing really well.

But Kerr has been telling him to tone it down. Kerr's reaction when Steph does those passes

I agree that play didn't cost them the series

Damn, you guys have it all figured out before game 1.

Why even play the games? I'm sure these same guys had it figured out last season, too :lol

Oh, and Stephen A Smith just picked the Warriors in 7.... 8o

Yeah the withdrawal is real. I hope it goes 7 to minimize the length of the off-season

Wtf are you talking about dude, have you ever played basketball before? If that's in your nature and you've been okay with it this whole time, you can't be mad at him for attempting that pass. Sure you're going to be upset because it was a turnover, but the pass itself is a play he's made thousands of times and you were okay with it.

Dont delete the post now. Like i said he shouldn't have done the pass in the 4th qt, of game 7 of the NBA finals PERIOD. He was making bone headed passes that whole game 7, and all of a sudden he wants to throw a behind the back pass? For what? you already lost 2 games in a row at that point, what in the blue hell was he thinking? Just play ball regular. he was over thinking everything because the Cavs were in his head Big time.
That was the dumbest play of the finals period.

He will be the reason again that they Lose in the finals this year, he is going to over do it, to try and to one up his play last year, and just fail.
