I do really like about half the team going forward to get us back into actual contention.


But unfortunately we're missing big pieces as opposed to smaller pieces.


Tanaka, CC, Warren, Clippard, Betances, Chapman (Severino possibly in the bullpen, although I'd consider trading him if he can't make it in the rotation).

Gary - C, Bird - 1B, Didi - SS, Judge - RF/DH.

Even if he's not an Ace (Which I think he is).. He's still a damn good pitcher. And without him, our rebuild is pointless.

(That's how bad our rotation is going forward without Tanaka).

That speaks volumes as to how bad our pitching staff is. Pineda bodes no confidence, Severino seems unable to find his groove, Tanaka is good for a few innings but then gets banged. C.C. has shown consistency at least.
