2018 Eid Mubarak!/Ramadan 2018

Went to the masjid Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz, also called the "blue mosque" for Jummah.

Ya it's huge. 24,000 capacity, never seen anything like it.

I'm in the Indian part of the city at the bazaar. Gonna go to the Indian Masjid for iftar

Grine Grine

It was incredible though. Talked to a guy that only spoke Malay, we didn't understand each other but we did, if that makes sense

Incredible

Yeah I was going to ask, how did they give the khutbah? :lol

Body language and facial expression tells it all. Talking with the hands works, too. :lol

They speak English out here, it's kind of hard to understand though. Can drivers and workers in stores can speak it but dude might have been from sticks. Probably didn't go to school. It was amazing though.

Beautiful pictures. When do you guys eat ?

Something I found interesting was at the first masjid I posted, they wrote "salat/salah" as "solat". At this one they spelled it "sholat"

Where is this one located ahat ahat ??

I guess it depends on the language dialect?

Nice pics! Went for Jummah’a?

“and eat and drink until you can discern the white streak of dawn against the blackness of night,” Al-Baqara (The Cow) - 2:160

Basically we eat and drink, after the sun set...

It's in Putrajaya, about a 45min drive from Kuala Lumpur. I went to see some other things and saw that masjid so I stopped by.

This place is dope though. Really hot, like 40 celsius. I'm currently riding the monorail so I can go back to the hotel and shower and get ready for iftar.

Ya maybe the dialect, I'm not sure. They spell a lot of things funny though, at least to me. They probably think our spelling is funny lol

Basikal is bicycle
Farmasi is pharmacy
Klinik is clinic
