terrible end to the half defensively (oh but they were moving the ball tho) super soft push off call too considering it literally had no effect on the play 40 feet from the basket, but whatever

that's generally true, but there's plenty of games they've locked in defensively while still relying heavily on iso ball. again, defensive effort was always a bigger problem than iso ball. that's not debatable

They're not independent of each other. You're not gonna stand around watching a dude dribble 500+ times and chuck stepbacks all day then give your best effort

yep KD is a killer but the point of that is to show that "iso ball doesn't work for the rockets" is such a stupid misconception stated by plenty of people here during the course of the game. in actuality, harden dominated with it (and KD) and we fail outside of it cause the other guys can't really create for themselves (except gordon at times) and thrive off cp3/harden. W's switch everything so they shut down all of our cuts/drives/screens off-ball when it wasn't an immediate iso.
