Draymond's defense is still top notch, it's just teams finally realized that letting him do what he wants in half court offense works to their advantage.
But yeah, their 'other guys' aren't great.

. On paper they have pieces but they're dumb as bricks and soft as ****. Jazz without Rubio was a hurdle but Mitch was killing yall when he came up hurt. And warriors woulda slid yall in 5 til Iggy and Klay got hurt.But really how are yall gonna improve this team? You're stuck with an aging pg who's frequently hurt (looking at you celtics), a turd of an sg, Ryan Anderson, and you have to max capella. Don't even have any assets to trade

It's a part of our identity, but I won't expect anybody who doesn't watch the Rockets a lot to understand that. We start launching 3s when we don't get calls at the rim. I mean, you can post all the stats, graphs and formulas you want.
or your coach could try to run a real offense, or get his team to adjust to what the defense is giving them. Common sense would tell you after 20 missed threes maybe your guys don't have the legs to keep relying on those shots but Dantoni is gonna forever be the arrogant coach he is & live or die with his philosophy

I mean, how valuable is his defense relative how BAD is offense can potentially be in a 7 game series? He's obviously still good, but he's part of the reason why the Warriors aren't "unbeatable." The rockets would have been toast if he was a league average shooter.
The Dubs best lineup is the death lineup which features two non shooters, and literally nothing else on the roster. Almost cost them this year, and it SHOULD only get harder for them next year. Interested seeing what they do this summer.

I think thats part of my point. It may be what they did all year long, but settling for threes when you were getting buckets on the drive and are cold as hell cost them this game.
It doesnt matter if it's what they did all year. You cant expect to get bailed out shooting a bunch of threes.

Never thought they’d win 1 in my lifetime. Everything else is just gravy. I got tickets to Game 1. I’ve never been a Finals game before. I’m soaking all this in because after this over. I’m sure it will never be like this again.
