So his "heroics" in the 2016 finals where the Cavs came back from being down 3-1 just... never happened?

Lebron by himself is good for at least 2 Cavs wins in the finals.

Kevin Love will have to come back and show up for the Cavs to get a 3rd win.

Someone else on the cavs will have to show a pulse to win the series.

Cavs in 7.

Last years Cavs were a better team and they won ONE game.

Celtics who had no go to scorer took them to 7 games.

If rozier didn't shoot like harrison barnes few days ago. It would be Celtics vs GSW

buh buh buh....they lost 4-1 last year. What dat mean? He would've done better without kyrie and kev? So then they wouldnt have helped in 2015 right? Bet.

Wait, what? Last year's Warriors and the 2015 ones are the same team?

In 2015, this guy still didn't realize the only way he can win:

no no no, the point had nothing to do with the warriors roster. He said bron alone can get 2 wins. Last year they had kevin and Kyrie back and only got one, so logically, hes saying bron better without kev and kyrie...hence....bron didnt need them in 2015, for everyone still crying about the warriors getting 'lucky'

They didn't win though. They couldn't have been that much better.

It's crazy to me how people just refuse to respect Lebron.

At this point in his career, no matter how bad his teammates are, he's proven that he's not just gonna get smacked 4-0 or 4-1 in the playoffs.

I'm telling you the man is good for minimum 2 wins on the sheer strength of his greatness and will to win.

And wait a sec- did you not see Jason Tatum scoring at will once he realized that nobody can guard him? Seems like a go to scorer to me whether you are willing to admit it or not.

I think that you would literally have to copy-paste the

7 best games from Kevin Love this entire season, including the playoffs
7 best games from George Hill
7 best games from Kyle Korver
7 best games from Jeff Green
7 best games from J.R. Smith

and insert them into the 2018 finals in order for the Cavs to have a chance of beating the Warriors.

I hear what you're saying but that's extreme.

The Cav's margin for error against the warriors is pretty low buy you don't need career games from 5 guys on the cavs roster to win a series against a warriors team who took 7 games to beat the easiest team to defend in the NBA in the Rockets.

It took Golden state 7 games to figure out how to stop a 2 man isolation showcase.

That's not impressive at all.

Granted Iggy was out for a few games but still.

Kevin Love will have to produce though...

Easy paw paw. He wasn't the only one that worked on the 3-1 come back.

'Against Golden State, Irving averaged 27.1 points, 3.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals and shot 46.8% from the field and 40.5% on three-pointers. He scored at least 30 points in three games, including 41 on 17-of-24 shooting in Game 5, which turned the series around for Cleveland, and 20 in the first half of Game 6.'

the year Kyrie broke his knee cap in the finals and Love was out Bron was still wreaking havoc.

At some point everyone that doubted Lebron's ability to overcome the greatest odds will have a moment where collectively, you all say "yeah, I don't know how I ever doubted him, I didn't know what I was talking about".

That's not to say that Kyrie was insignificant, but here the Cavs are again, in the finals, without him. So clearly he was at a minimum, kind of disposable.

Cavs in 7.

He only won them ONE game last year with a better squad. Even if you want to be intellectually dishonest and act as if the margin is slim between the rosters, you cannot say he is good for a minimum of two wins when the he only got one win against virtually the same Golden State team just one year ago.

Keep moving them goalposts though, playa.

The Rockets won 65 games this year (6 more than any other team in the league) and this fool just said they’re the easiest team to defend in the league.

At this point, I knew everything he had to say was irrelevant. He’s been a relatively inactive member that joined in March with only 42 posts. This is clearly a burner account that some millennial or old dude with nothing better to do created to rustle jimmies.

But he DID get smacked 4-1 at last years finals, did he not?

Not talking about just Lebron here. Cavs team as a whole.

If you think Lebron can just drop 40+ on the defending champs and win then you're in for a nightmare b

Tatum is a rookie. He scored 20+ twice the whole series. Klay, Curry and KD can drop 20 in a quarter.

As much as i want this series to be competitive. I just don't see it.

I'm fairly confident 6 out of the 8 playoff team in the East would have lost first round in the west regardless of who they played.

Go to sleep!

So last years finals didn't happen?

Easiest team to defend :lol

I have no doubt in my mind HOU would sweep this Cavs team with a healty CP3

When Dray really got blocked at the rim by harden who can't even really jump that high I was like smh. Draymond has gotten exposed this year. I don't see him aging well ball wise at all.
He better go spend time with Tom Brady. Dray is in terrible shape for a top player in the league, but then again I don't think the warriors even have a weight room based on their teams physical appearance.

Wait Lebron was blamed for losing to Golden State? I could have sworn both times people were saying he should be MVP even thoug his team lost.
every time LBJ has lost, he is to blame. why do you think they always highlight his finals record and not kevin love's? who's gonna take the blame ifcleveland loses to gsw this year? kyle korver?

truth is, lbj led teams have been the underdog entering most finals series' and all were at best a toss up outside of 2011 vs. dallas when they were the odds on favorite. they were favored vs. SAS in 2013 and underdogs in 2014

oh, and btw, in 2013...if it wasnt for ray allen etc etc etc
and...in 2016 if it wasnt for kyrie hitting that shot etc etc etc

Bron barely beat the Celtics and goddamn Pacers. He shoudve damn well made it to the Finals.

Man ***** ain't nobody feeling sorry for Lebron. He's dictated the roster every team he's played on. Just like this upcoming year, Lebron has a choice where to play. I don't want to hear this no help argument.

you took it all out of context. but very few NTers understand context. whether you blame LBJ or not isnt even the discussion.

the discussion is, if he gets all the blame, then he has to get all the credit. and if he gets some of the credit, he only deserves some of the blame. whether you blame him or not, i couldnt give a rats *** about.

his legacy is sealed to me win or lose. he's the 2nd best player to ever play. to others, maybe you, he's much much lower. but again, that was never the discussion
