I used to be quiet. Just start speaking your mind more. Whatever comes, speak it. It's always nice to have more than 2 people carry a group conversation.Eventually it will become natural, and you wont have problems anymore

Do you even have friends? Then who have you been drinking with? If it was by yourself, you definitely have a problem man.
But anyways, stop acting all awkward around people. People think you're weird because you come off as a weirdo. Loosen up, find a circle of friends thatmight appreciate you then start off from there.

first,congrats on you losing weight man
but kind of use the same motivation you did for losing weight into being able to conversate with others
push yourself mentally to actually have a conversation and not just answer with one word the more you do it
the more comfortable you will be and it will become easier good luck to you.

I got friends, I don't drink by myself, just at partys or when hanging at some friend's house. Also still not old enough to buy liquor.

Honestly, I used to be pretty shy, would talk really quietly, it took me getting a job in customer service to come out a bit. Since then I've definitelycome out of my shell. I'm pretty confident most of the time, but I have my days when I'm not, then I have my days when I'm overly confident.
If you believe you're confident it will rub off on you, and you will eventually be confident. Tried and tested man, I started off just jokingly beingbig-headed and cocky. I've never been genuinely cocky and up myself, but the joking let me get a taste of it and the confidence in being able to joke aboutmyseld just started to come naturally after awhile.
I still get a bit awkward at times, I have this thing where my face goes bright red even when I'm not embarrassed. If people ask me about the tatt on mywrist, I get all awkward when I tell them about it and go red. Same *$% goes when somebody asks me what I'm doing academic-wise. Or (smfh at me) whenI'm talking to a cute guy (no ayo, I'm a girl) at work, it's the worst. I hate talking about myself to somebody I barely know, I go red, butI'm in no way embarrassed about what I'm telling them.
I don't think there's a quick fix-it. Cliche I know, but I think it's a time thing. Also your circumstances as well. I can only suggest justgetting out there and doing stuff that's slightly out of your comfort zone, and then moving up towards other stuff that you wouldn't usually do.

simple as this....... Stop giving a f what people think. Wether you're fat, skinny, short or funny looking. If you don't care about things like this,no one else will. Unless they are shallow, and in that case, they have worse insecurities than you.

im quiet myself and my girl hates it cuz when we go out i dont interact with her friends or w/e. idc tho ive been this way my whole life i dont think i shouldhave to conversate or jump in a conversation just cuz. Naw im coo the people i mess with is the people i mess with so whoever else in the workplace or w/e thecase may be can call me quiet or shy it dont really matter to me

I feel the same way. I'm quiet a lot of the time and it's simply because I have nothing to say. People always expect you to talk even if you could careless about the conversation.
