I’m being sarcastic with y’all. It’s a team sport. Of course you need a mixture of positions. You have to DEVELOP the talent. Kickers and punters of course don’t need to be first rounders. The teams consistently winning NEVER have to draft high anyway. So of course they may be full of late round pics.

If you’ve got a history of your first rounders not panning our, that says more about your scouting department or team philosophy being awful.

I think an elite TE is one of the most game changing positions in the league. The reason many don’t get taken that high is because they are hard to come by.

But I don’t hate the Lions taking Hockenson for that reason. He’s got the potench.

TE is just a hard position and it's hard to really tell how guys will translate, you're better off swinging on multiple guys in the 2nd or later

i mean the clear cut 3 best TEs in the NFL right now went in the 2nd (ertz), 3rd (kelce) and 5th (kittle)
