‘14 def felt more durable but also cuz it wasn’t full durabuck. I feel the durabuck has been getting a lot more thin throughout the years.

I can accept the contrast heel not being there. But you said the tongue is higher? The shade leans more to the orange red look? Lastly, the white lining around the durabuck. Is that pretty easy to see? Or is it like the 2014?
It’ll post pics of the edges. The shade is orangish. The tongue is definitely a little higher.

Yeah bro, overall construction of the shoe seems weak in comparison to any 6 I’ve ever held. Toebox is especially weak on my pair. Come on JB/Nike..... really

That really has nothing to do with being able to tell what the materials are. As soon as I find it, I’ll post the description from a sales ad for them and it lists them as nubuck.

SNKRS lists the 1991 as nubuck. The damn Nike catalog from 1991 days it’s made of Durabuck. Who’s telling the truth?

I KNOW everyone on here is on a 2019 Infrared high:smokin:rofl:.....

But Anyone else Notice the Quality on the 2014's feel much More Durable /Stronger?

I no longer have the 2014s but when I pick up the 2019s they feel “thin”. Everything about the shoe just feels thin. Very little padding in the heel and around the ankles.

Don’t get mad man. These 2019s are nubuck. You said yourself they look nothing like the BM5s and Bordeaux 7s so why would Nike all of a sudden change the current durabuck when they all pretty much had the same material in the 90s. Don’t be so stubborn

Im thinking the molded durabuck is what was on the back of the 91s being its synthetic, nubuck is genuine leather which I think makes up the majority of the shoe in 91.
Could be vice versa^.

Also could be a explanation why some 2019 pairs have the different heel texture & some dont.

I'm also a 11.5 & 12. I went with the 11.5 for the Maroons. Still plenty of space at the toe box. Hopefully these will fit the same.

I did a quick look at the maroons and the new black infrareds. The maroons are a smidge longer. Not by much but there is a difference.

And maroons are leather so they will stretch more. Infrareds are TTS.

You’re misquoting me, and misunderstood what I said. I said it’s not the same. Why did I say that? Because th edges are darker, and it’s a little thinner. They feel the same, and look the same in a picture.
