The difference might be small to some but the shape is nicer on the 2019 pair, especially the toe box. The toebox on the 2014 pair legit the stiffest I’ve ever seen on a sneaker. The overall material is similar but softer on the 2019s also the inner lining feels nicer.

For those buying later, DO NOT GO .5 down.
That's interesting, I was ready to go .5 down compared to 2014 after Watching Mike Rich's review video on YouTube. He's a 12 like me and felt the same too much space in the 2014 pair and his 11.5 he said was perfect.

Everyone's feet are different?

These fit as TTS as any shoe I have. They are gonna smash some toes at .5 down...

The way I look at it
Sizing down is a gamble
Initially I was gonna go half size down
But now that I think about it if you size down and it’s tight you are screwed
But if you go TTS or your regular size and it’s runs a little big you have options
Thick socks(double sock)
Add extra insole(use thicker insole)
Lace it up tighter
Use force shields or sneaker shields

I guess ideally would be to try to get two pairs and return one.

TBH I hate adding/removing insoles and thick socks even on my 2014 doesn't help. It really ruins the feel of the shoe to wear them.

I've always stuck with my true to size with all the Jordan's I've copped and these will be no different. I rather have some dead space in the toebox than worry about my feet feeling all crammed up.
Same, all are my true size but the 2014 6s and my white/black 12s are so big I hate wearing them as much I love the shoes. I'm trying to wear and be comfortable. I might take the gamble for the first time on this pair.

I have my pair on feet right now. These are roomy in the toe box, but not enough to justify going half a size down. They are pretty comfy though, especially when it comes to retros.

This sizing is key. I have limited experiences with VI's...CDP Carmines, Infra Red Pack, and Burgundy's. Once I tried the Burgundy at an 11.5, I knew that I'd buy VI's at 11.5 from then on....just like I do with the XIII's. The VI in 11.5 looks so much better to me and it's the perfect fit in the Burgundy's, at least.

If 2014's were boats....I'm hoping that they were the same "boat" as the CDP's and Infra Pack joints that I let go. That will ensure that I can do 11.5 with these.

Hate the new packaging, but these are super comfy

SNKRS pair came in looking good. QC not too bad. Wish heel contrast was heavier, but it is visible. Aside from the heel I am happy with my pair. On my pair the heels material does feel different than the rest of the upper. Someone else also mentioned this.
