7-8 years first 4 is the rookie contract ... they always re-sign with their team ... during that contract is when it becomes turbulent and trades are seeked

I proposed this exact deal in the draft thread months ago. Makes sense for Golden State. None for Chicago unless they're enamored w/ one of the "top 3" guys.
