2020-21 NBA Offseason thread: Officially a wrap

Rondo’s team kept throwing the clippers out there talmbout he expected us to offer him

Brown was a great pick as well. Other than Tatum and Brown, and I'll give him Smart too, and fine the hiring of Stevens, Boston has botched a lot.

Also got lucky in 2015 that no team in the top 10 wanted to trade with them when they were targeting Winslow.

Also, who knows do they draft Josh Jackson if he gives them a workout in 2017?

But keep in mind the Lakers are only in this position because of a dude you hated on for years on here  . Lebron and Rich Paul are the only reasons the Lakers are in the position they are in.

Ya'll Lebron stans are really bad at the idea of sharing credit :lol:,

Since you brought up 2015 let's revisit #Dawzrd track record

Ainge said he offered a wealth of draft picks (reportedly as many as four first-rounders) to move up, and woke up Friday morning happy the Hornets rejected the offer. The Hornets instead drafted Wisconsin power forward-center Frank Kaminsky.

“In hindsight, the next day, it’s probably a good thing,” Ainge said during an appearance on Boston radio station 98.5, The Sports Hub. “We were probably going to spend too much to do what we needed to do.”

The ineptitude of Charlotte passing on FOUR FIRST ROUND PICKS FOR FRANK KAMINSKY is what stopped Danny from crashing this **** a long time ago.

Another Nets pick (Collin Sexton) was in the Kyrie trade.

The Hayward injury is really the main thing that screwed everything up. Unlucky. Sucks.

Team got to the ECF without Hayward though. Should be seeing improvement from everybody on the team other than Kemba who's still going to be good for 20 a night. Losing Hayward isn't ideal, but it's certainly not the end of the world. Things looked significantly more bleak last summer and the team ended up being better.

Laker fans knew the case....

but i vividly remember people disregarding AD's FATHER blatantly saying he's never going there..... to hype up Boston's "war chest" of Assets   . The Celtics were linked to every single big FA that forced a trade the past 3-4 years and converted on 1 (who immediately left).

People were calling that Nets trade the WORST OF ALL TIME, Ainge had all of that to work with, plus several other picks from moves he made..... And in 2020 he has a capped out roster Who hasn't even reupped with it's best player yet  who's ceiling is conference finals on a perfect run.

Tatum is the only thing not making Danny's overseeing of this position a disaster... Boston's big weakness was a big right? somehow their huge loss in FA was not getting a 35 yr old Paul Milsap

Let’s not forget the key thing. He almost blew the war chest on Justice Winslow

Losing Hayward isn’t the problem.

it’s losing him for nothing when his deal was the last real chip worth bringing back something to push things over the top.

Ainge has done a lot right building that thing out. But man there’s been some pretty glaring mistakes along the way.

Honestly who wants to play in Boston?

Your number you wore your prior team is likely retired thus you likely have to wear an oddball number, the same crowd that’ll cheer you during the game will like call you a racial slur once the game ends, among other reasons....

Hayward can def still hoop just seems like his body is legit breaking down, that’s what would make him “bad” ...The numbers don’t matter if you on the sidelines when the team needs you
does he have nagging injuries?
broken leg, which seems healed now
and a nasty ankle sprain in this year playoffs
