Thompson is a solid, switchable defender. Better than Turner defending in space. Isn't the shot blocker that Turner is, but he also defends the other bigs in the East better than Turner does in the paint. He started shooting some 3s toward the end of the season too. Will probably see more of it in Stevens system. He definitely makes the team we saw in the playoffs better. I think Turner would've been good as well and would've been happy to have him, but I definitely don't think he's worth twice the money.

The trade exception doesn't need to be used right away. Has a year to use it. Can basically be used for anybody in the league making less than like $22M so they don't get hardcapped. The Warriors just got Kelly Oubre for example with theirs. Perhaps someone like Evan Fournier at the deadline?

Fournier and Thompson would be a significantly better return than Turner and McDermott.

The Turner/ Thompson debate can go back and forth so let's just see how much better the Celtics will be this year. Kemba will need to be healthy and Tatum will need to take another leap and be a top 10 player to have any chance of a chip. If that can happen and all Thompson will need to do is to rebound and be a decent defender, then you guys will be fine.

With the trade though, Ainge has the habbit of wanting to fleece any deal which may work sometime, but then people realize that and you get to lose out on win/win opportunities. Can he get Fournier? Maybe, but what will he be willing to give up?

I think the Curry line will be fine, sure it’s not up any of our alleys, but those families that have multiple kids that hoop that want a shoe with a name attached to it with decent performance and a low to moderate price will buy these.

Honestly, that might be the better way to go with the shoe. It's probably more profitable that way too.

Gary Harris
Joe Ingles
Jordan Clarkson
Buddy Hield
Harrison Barnes
Aldrige
Derozan
Aaron Gordon
Terrance Ross
Eric Bledsoe
Zach LaVine
Patrick Beverly
Aaron Gordon
Dejounte Murray
Larry Nance
Norm Powell
Terrence Ross
Dillon Brooks

looking at that list, Bledsoe will be a perfect addition as the 6th man. Imagine a defensive back court of Bledsoe and Smart. Sheesh.

130 is pretty expensive

Seen a handful of celebs at the airport but one time about 2-3 years ago I sat next to this baddie on the plane. She was a lil chocolate ting and had on this kinda baggy shirt but I could tell them thangs was swangin. Didn't know she was anybody but I'mma prolific scorer so I shot my shot. We were leaving Vegas and made some small talk, she said she stayed at Cesar's palace and I said 'was it the real Cesar's palace?'. I don't know if she never saw the hangover but she thought that was kinda funny .

Ended up getting her number and ig. Didn't want to be a creep and stalk her ig while I was sitting right next to her so I waited until we got off the plane. Turns out she was a stripper and ******** model named niyah Renee . Look her up if you're unfamiliar..gotta be top 5 breasts I've ever seen DOA. Never got anywhere because she was all about her paper and her man but I went out guns blazing

When I was in NYC heavy, I’d run into celebrities quite frequently but would never know who they were until afterwards my girl or one of my homies would say “Do you know who that was?” Even if I do recognize em, I just make eye contact, give em the head nod (or smile if it’s a yamb) and keep it pushing

Aren’t you like 6’9”? Do people ask you if you hoop regularly? The other day when I was shopping the sales associate saw my Lakers lapel pin on my coat and asked if I played in the NBA and I’m like Obama’s size

I feel like it’s always non-black immigrants that ask that question as if every black dude with money is in the league or movies. White people know you’re not a celebrity but are quick to say “You look like XYZ celebrity”. It began to piss me off so much that I created a collage of all the random people I was told I look like to pull out anytime someone said some dumb ****

Evan Turner teaching player development is like wavycrocket wavycrocket teaching how to pick up pronstars in the airport

My man wavycrocket wavycrocket started a chain reaction with that Teanna Trump post but he’s bounced back since that experience. Needs to DM that to Nate Robinson to give that man some hope. They both took similar sized Ls

Wouldn't be surprised if they take a similar route. Unless the East seems completely out of reach and they need a more impactful player.

So looking at that list, if Boston uses the full TPE are the Celtics and Tatum CLEARLY the best team (maybe 2nd behind regular reason Milwaukee) in the East?
