Yeah... I don't think that's a real thing. I would not recommend using that lingo at a park.

My take: sharks are vicious and nimble, like oski's skating

I've also heard the term "park shark" before referring to someone who just cruises around the park skating everything in one line like they own it, but no one is calling you a shark if you drop in on them. That's a snake

heard from multiple shops that that was the inspiration and meaning behind the shark...i don't skate but presumably if you own a skate shop you do, so i guess take it with a grain of salt?
