I think so in the context that they're up against the wall with Dame. Running it back will get you to the Playoffs (maybe?)Does that really make sense for Portland though?
whatever young core type haul they can get when dame asks to be tradedThe blazers retool with what lineup?
Right, this is trueThat's the type of deal that is against Morey's MO.
If Embiid is as good as we think he is, CJ or Ratsull or Brogdon type should be a huge improvement come Playoff timeDoesn't really make much of an impact for either team in the bigger picture, but Philly gets marginally better.
We already have the second star in MaxeyThat's the type of deal that is against Morey's MO.

Only injuries beating BKN but that wasn't the discussion. I don't think any of those 3 guards are just a marginal improvementAll three do fir better with Embiid but they aren't enough to put them over BK/Mil hell i don't even think they beat Miami.
Would Dame and Ben Simmons even be a good fit together though? I guess it’d be worth the risk for the Blazers since they gotta keep Dame happy with a move that shows they want to contend, but I wonder how they’d mesh together
If you're a perennial All-Star, you're elite.

Could def see them beating MIL and Miami
They definitely would, but the overall improvement of the team would probably be marginal if you’re giving up that much to get him. Perhaps Anfernee Simons could really step up though DCAllAfrican .Would Dame and Ben Simmons even be a good fit together though? Producer for NBC Sports Philly so take it for what it is
I got you homie
"When asked how much pressure he feels to get things right with Simmons, Rivers said "Umm...let's say I slept well last night"
