Shedeur was definitely a first round pick talent in THIS draft. Especially over Dart. Doesn't take typing a long *** explanation to see that.

Rumors that the Rams were interested in him too. Saints as well. No guarantee he would’ve been there.
He wasn’t more accurate than Joe. I think he had good accuracy but definitely not elite.

I mean him and Dart aren’t good but Daboll wants more of a mobile guy. Shedeur isn’t that. Systems and fit matter for these guys too. Their was 1 QB that most teams had a 1st round grade on and that was Cam Ward and he would’ve been between the 5th and 7th QB drafted last year people think. The buzz for weeks was that NFL scouts weren’t as high on Shedeur’s talent but Deion’s marketing had people convinced otherwise. Not really a shock to anyone who has been following draft writers

They played this on local sports radio. They’re killing him. He’s a taller Zach Wilson. Went to the same high school as him. They played some other clips and Gruden was confused at how many hits he took for no reason.
Rams people already said they weren’t taking him at 26.
Very good chance he’s not drafted in the first round.
This is why so many people were perplexed over John Mara not cleaning house because they HAD to draft a QB. Now you get a QB that most people think sucks and a front office that has one foot out the door. So now what? Giants win 3-4 games next year, is Mara gonna keep them both out of spite and ego? Everyone thought they were all gone this year but John didn’t want to be embarrassed.

It could happen…but we have so many damn holes to fill. and there are a lot of good prospects left. We’ll see how the board falls…
We have no WR, LB or CB depth. Like at all. So i find it tough to take Shaduer when we still have to field a team. Jayden Higgins/Luther Burden still being there may be the pick…Corey Schwesinger is also intriguing.
Our GM in his post 1st round interview mentioned the possibility of trading back…we’ll see…

When actual games were being played those were the 2 QB's being talked about. Normally when these "experts" get to hyping up a QB (Jackson Dart) they're dead wrong long term. They get wow'ed by potential.
Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson (I'm rooting for him but damn), Will Levis.
They always use this "We studied the tape!!". The tape don't stop people from being bias. They pick and choose which flaws from which player they wanna highlight.
We have been following for the talk for weeks and the stuff that came out is silly. So Shedeur is the only player in this draft that's cocky? Obvious what's going on.

It’s moreso about how draft people and majority of fans approach the draft.. for example, we’ll see mock drafts for 2026 in a couple days and people will talk about guys sliding when nothing is set in stone
Richardson owes josh Allen money.. but he’s a bad example because dude showed up at the combine and put up absurd numbers at DE size and threw the ball a mile.. stuff majority of humans can’t do
Sanders is under 6’2 and not super athletic and not a strong arm guy.. Matt Barkley was hyped and then teams actually started studying him and he ending up dropping to the 4th

It’s not about him being cocky, man. He’s average size, not mobile, above average accuracy and holds on to the ball too long. Will Levis also didn’t go R1 and he has more of the prototypical QB arm strength and athleticism that they hype up.
He’s just not that good of a prospect this isn’t some racist thing where a guy who was a first round pick got dropped because he’s brash. They’ve been calling this a super weak QB class all year but y’all fell for Deion’s marketing scheme. Cam Ward was a mid round pick if he came out last year and he went #1 overall. It’s not too difficult to piece together how he teams felt about these QBs. And the Giants are a poorly run organization, of course they pick Jones and Dart back to back
