2025 NFL Draft Thread

Don’t know what you’ve been watching, but Shedeur has been thought of as a 1st round pick since his final season at Colorado.
Mock drafts during the season are pretty irrelevant. Go back and look at those compared to what happened on Thursday and see how off they are. Once teams start really digging in during the Senior Bowl/Shrine Bowl and combine you get a sense of what these boards look like.

I’d like to point out that you need to do better.

Kaep was recovering from multiple surgeries at the time he started his silent protest. He didn’t not lose his starting spot to Blaine Gabbert, he went on IR to end the 2015 season.

Pete Carroll noted in a previous interview Kaep should still be a starter somewhere, but that he already had Russ at the time.

There is no confirmation anywhere stating he turned down a contract from Seattle because he wanted to start over Russ. You’re entitled to your own opinion. You’re not entitled to your own facts.

LOL

Ending the season on IR in 2015 means what for LOSING His job? ZERO

HE LOST his starting role.....HE WAS NOT AN NFL STARTER when he FIRST took a knee is that opinion or fact?
AND AND AND ALTHOUGH taking a KNEE he regained HIS starting JOB FACT. so while protesting he went from BENCH to starting...

pull up articles quoting keap how pissed he was in AUGUST that he was QB 2 according to 9ers beat writers.

Blow me

A lot of teams ****** up. It’s a lot of bums starting under center on Sundays.

when your qb’s are Kenny Pickett and a 40 year old Joe Flacco, both Dillion Gabriel and Shedeur are going to have a legit opportunity to prove themselves and make a case to be the starter at some point.

Just to go winless end up with the #1 pick
And draft Arch Manning 🤷🏽‍♂️

Legendary

I don’t think anybody is saying he’s the bestest QB, but Dillon gabriel and milroe? If you can’t admit to that then your just a hater
I don't think Milroe is better than him but he certainly is much a better athlete and has a bigger upside. He also has those "intangibles" that people seem to care a lot about for QB's (masters degree, graduated in three years cum laude etc.).

If you don't view Sanders as a starter, which is fair imo, why in the hell would you want him as your backup? Backup jobs are pretty much to be seen and not heard, which is the opposite of what would happen if you drafted Sanders. And that's not necessarily his fault cause the media has chosen to make this all about him and his father, but his father has certainly spent his career fostering that image.

Race plays a role in everything in America and this for sure plays out differently imo if Sanders is white, but at the same time, I keep seeing people compare him to Manziel and Baker as "gotcha's" and those guys has huge red flags but were heisman winners and better prospects than him.

So many people (myself included) who don't even watch CFB are interested in turning this into a civil rights issue essentially and I think that's pretty misguided.
