deGrom has been shaky lately, injuries, that blister. Hopefully he doesn't allow any more damage with whatever time he has left out there. But the Mets are pathetic. So many missed opportunities to score. 2-17 with RISP. Not playoff caliber baseball at all.

Is deGrom a free agent this year or is he able to opt out? I know the rumor was circulating that he would be in Atlanta next season, but I just shrugged that off as Twitter trolls.

He'll probably opt out and be a free agent. I wouldn't blame him for leaving. He has done enough for a team that doesn't score for him. I would love to see him back but I could definitely see him leaving. I'm glad I got to see him pitch twice in person. Legendary pitcher.
