2026 MLB Season Thread

I don’t know a god damn thing about the 1994 lockout.

But they didn’t really stop watching baseball after it right?

I feel like that’s just something people say :lol:
 
This sucks.

The start of spring training makes me happy and excited about the new season (both baseball and meteoroligically).

These thoughts are brought to you by: my selfish, entitled feelings and first/real world issues of no rn baseball.
 
i remember that 94 strike, good thing i was running the streets and chasing tail. if it happens nowadays when i'm home all the time watching tv i'm gonna lose it. even back in 94 it felt empty without baseball in the background. Yankees were just starting to get good again so that sucked too.

these guys need to get this settled already. that feeling of baseball in the air is near and now i'm starting to panic .....

as much as i'd love to disagree and stick up for baseball, i agree. everything u said is spot on, especially when i see that guys like the former heavyweight champ are fighting for their country and people.

It's becoming almost certain the season is at least shortened. Some real buzz for the M's was happening last season so this would be a real bummer as I was looking forward to catching some games this season.

Obviously there are much larger issues happening but is it wrong for wanting americas favorite past time to take our minds off things (baseball isn't my favorite sport by a Longshot but I always associate it with spring/summer)

That would be litty! I bought those Flex season tix so I could qualify for All Star Game tix next year, it would be cool if they were competitive again haha!

Deal is getting done, two more days so these folks better get it together.

Don't think it gets done by Monday unfortunately. Owners creating these fake deadlines :{
 
Anything that keeps more money out of da Montforts pockets is what I want. 🤡 don't care about making the Rockies competitive. They just love that we attend Coors Field no matter what. This is why I'm a fan of every MLB team except da Colorado Rockies.
 
I'm good with them missing a few early spring games. Last week of spring guys are antsy and wanna get the season on anyway. They'll be ready, just need these clowns to act like they're making some progress and not negotiate for 15 minutes and close shop for another 2 weeks.
 
What’s good, we picking KBO and Nippon League team if the season is delayed?! Let’s go Kiwoom and Orix!!!
 
His share of the Marlins was supposed to grow over time and never did and created a divide between him and Bruce Sherman who's the Marlin's money guy.
