Yeah like back when Kobe had the Colorado case back in 2003. Nike took a chance on him. Kobe though had just paid to get out his original deal with Adidas and had just signed with Nike. I read a story how the Hurache 2K4's were suppose to be Kobe's first signature shoe with Nike.
