Yea teams usually charge for stuff like that so worrying about getting trampled and super long lines and angry/annoyed fans don’t happen.

Probably will charge $10 to get in next year for fan fest but not stupid $25 for selfies with random a*s Dodger players
Mookie, Kershaw didn't even show up to Dodger fan fest Me and other season ticket members got in 1 hour early before the general public. I lined up at 9am and waited a 1 hour to get Soto to sign his jersey for me. Moved onto the next area where Xander was signing in the ballpark and waited 1 more hour. I left by 11AM.

Teams charge when there is high demand. If I set up an autograph booth in the middle of Los Angeles tomorrow and Lebron James set one up Monday, there's a reason his booth would have to charge and mine would be free.
