2026 NBA Draft Thread

True. AJ repeated 8th grade twice. Not a reclass up like Cooper more like lets speed up this money train because another year of HS is pointless

Mikel Brown Jr is clearly the best player on the team. He’s doing everything. Scoring or assisting. He’s basically a 6’4 Trae Young with bounce. Crazy feel for the game. Steph range. This tournament has made me a fan

AJ is definitely a 6’9 RJ with a better shot. But I think if RJ was taller and could shoot he would probably be an all star right?

Yeah I ain’t impressed with dude. Playing against all elite competition will settle the score.

RJ Barrett/Darius Miles type it seems

USA is a Nike showcase. They wasn't going to have an Adidas guy (Mikel Brown Jr) win the MVP. Similar reasons to why Darryn Peterson (who's also Adidas) didn't even bother playing.

This was a great tournament however. I got a better feel for a lot of these guys actuals games. Not just IG highlights. Peat, Dybantsa, Brown Jr are all gonna have solid freshman years. The number 1 pick though is up for debate. I can for sure see Boozer or Peterson getting that number 1 pick over AJ.

Yea the 26 and 27 recruiting classes don't have a AJ, Boozer, or Flagg. Not even a Peterson or Harper level player tbh. Honestly this next draft will probably be the last elite draft of the decade. We were spoiled these last 2 recruiting cycles. I was hearing about all those guys being top amateur players since they freshman/middle school years.
