2026 NBA Draft Thread

I’m not a draft guy but why does boozer continue to drop on people’s boards when he’s been the best player at every level of competition he’s been at?

Defensive upside (err downside).

"He's kicked everyone's *** and won at every level" was a line used for Jahlil Okafor once upon a time too.

Only thing I can really think of is that he doesn't have enough flash to his game. Not a super bouncy athlete. Could be considered "boring".

Personally think it's dumb when you see more "grounded" guys like Sengun and Queen for example look like they can do whatever they want on the floor at times. Strength and footwork can go a long way. Boozer is already a better shooter than them. Has the same passing instincts. Extremely polished.

Defensively he looks fine. Sure, he might have some trouble guarding PFs like Jayson Tatum that can do everything, or if he's switched onto quick guards, but the majority of the league has those problems.

Really don't get the apprehension. He's going to be awesome immediately.
