2026 NBA Draft Thread

Finally got my Dybantsa watch in, really good obviously but only one assist…not ideal for someone who is going to have such a high usage. Just doesn’t seem like he reads the game very naturally.

He averages nearly four assists a game. If anything, he showed a lot more feel than I thought before this season.

As we just saw, neither does Kevin Durant in year 18.

He’ll be fine

Less about the stats to me than just what I see when I watch. Once again, think he’ll be an All-NBA and I’d lean toward taking him first I think, but just something is missing to me.

You watched a poor game. Dude is actually a solid passer and was better in that department than expected. BYU just ***. Also their 2nd option had been hurt since February

I will say this though. AJ benefits from the new gather rule more than any other player I’ve seen lol. A lot of his drives feel like travels

richie saunders is injured for BYU

AJ team is horrible only Rob Wright who’s the PG is left on the roster

Saunders going out threw off the whole team. AJ is a one man show without him. Rob Wright the only other player that can somewhat do anything off dribble.

Yep, BYU was basically a three man team all season and then it became two when Saunders went down.

Not the only concern with AJ but I’ve seen too many times he gives to the ball to Rob wright in the clutch. Can be fixed but this wasn’t the first or second times done that

AJ foul baits too much. Trying to draw contact that isn’t there. He got his but never really elevated the team honestly. But I know nowadays we give players longer leashes to get adjusted to the league as if these guys haven’t been playing basketball all their lives

What’s the average excuse time we give players now? 3 years? As if they haven’t played against each other since 8th grade.

He’s in the worst situation of all the top guys and had 35/10.

Peterson folks would be doing backflips if he did anything like that.

He’s the piece all the elite PG prospects need to play 2nd fiddle to.
Bingo. The term role player is really a misnomer because it applies to everyone.

If I’m asking KD to be mostly a play finisher, he can get me 35ppg in the NBA finals.

If I’m asking KD to initiate offense from 30 feet, play high PnR all game, he can get me swept in the first round.
