You know what'd be awesome as hell? If someone bought the shoes, and went to retake their membership photo and hold the shoe up next to their face like how some people do with the Costco hot dog.

Agree. And I understand people liking Costco, but if the shoes aren't good looking I don't care where they are from. I'd never buy something just because it was associated with a place. I think that's the part I don't get, because no one is really saying, "That's a great looking shoe."

I hope they do another release following this one. Love that it was kept under wraps and was a true shock drop, but I want these for the toe at retail.

I'm gonna put up my flame shield, but I gotta admit... this collaboration is one of my favorites now.

The release was completely random and only Costco members could get it. The collaboration is also completely random and hilarious in a good way. The fact that it's just a plain grey fleece-looking shoe is so on-brand with Kirkland clothing (I don't think they ever make anything flashy, but I could be wrong.) All the little details are just freaking awesome like the $1.50 hot dog on the insoles, and the price tag on the back of the tongue.

Shame that it landed mostly in the hands of resellers.

Bruv, costco hotdog and unlimited refill drink is the GOAT of all food deals. Unbeatable. Love it so much, made it a halloween costume some years ago. I’ll probably make some effort to get the shoes on the strength of costco appreciation and novelty

This release is interesting. I hope they do multiple more releases and give people that are outside of these initial release cities a chance to cop.
