I don't think I have every gotten more compliments on a pair of shoes as I did with these.
I used to wear them to campus at like 5 people everyday used to tell me "nice shoes"

Dumb as hell. Cw ain't even good. Nike just being ridiculous now with all these SB crossovers. They'll probably spin some story like "oh yeah! Back in 97' when we were tinkering around with the idea of starting a skate shoe within our company, Penny Hardaway had a meeting next door about his new shoe, The Foamposite One! Everything else as they say is history."

This is what always surprised me.
In our little bubble, you would expect certain sneakers to get more compliments...but the general public often has other ideas. The sneakers I've gotten the most compliments on were usually just a random, simple model/CW.

Thank you to whoever posted about the biscuit box from Note. It took me a minute to get it, it’s little banged up but the detail is nice. Better than the Black Ugly Christmas Sweater box in my opinion

Really glad the prices on these ended up coming down over the years - I'd given up hope of actually getting them.
