A bonehead move, no doubt, but I don't think a suspension is forthcoming (according to Chris Mortenson), or even necessary. Perhaps a sit down meeting with Braylon (led by Tannenbaum and Rex) and a fine from the Jets is all that should be done.

Wouldn't surprise me.
Braylon is one of my favorite players to ever wear a winged helmet, but this guy is a complete headcase. I thought he got his act together his senior year here, but clearly he hasn't.

I think Chris Mortenson stated that this falls into the NFL substance abuse policy and that Braylon has never done anything in violation of it before. Possibilities are that he will get a $50,000 fine and thats it. If the league or the team try to suspend him the players union will then come into play.
