First of all, to throw this mediocre season on to McNabb's shoulders is A)unfair B)stupid. Secondly, look at who McNabb is being replaced by. Thirdly, to downplay the trade of a 2nd and 4th rd picks is absurd. It reeks of a Cerrato / Snyder move which is what we all despised for a long time. It's been a circus all year around here man. And now this.

Would you not at least try and see what McNabb can do when he's not behind Rabach and that porous O-Line? Or how about giving him legit WR's? A Defense that gives them good field position? What exactly can u expect from your QB when he has none of those things?
I'm sorry but if you're telling me that you're going to trade a 2nd and 4th round picks, I would like more than 12 games to evaluate the return on my investment. Especially, when he has NO SUPPORTING CAST.

Which is exactly the point....no one is going to argue that the situation was mishandled...but to sit here and say that 1) McNabb gives the Skins the best chance of winning, or 2) He deserves to start, is downright foolish.
How many games has McNabb WON for the Skins this year? He's had more throws go in the dirt, go in/out of defenders hands, a COMPLETE lack of accuracy, amongst other things, etc. than any QB I've seen under center for the Skins. He's been terrible. There is NO reason why he should remain as the starting QB. He's not the answer, and the trade didn't work out.
Gift...you were right all along. I remember you weren't high on McNabb when the trade was made a few months back. Andy Reid and the Eagles made out like bandits, and the Skins are left with an egg on their faces...again.

That's the million-dollar question....My only guess is to try to trade guys like Chris Cooley to get draft picks in return and try to build the team that way....they need to get away from giving up their own picks via trades etc and GET YOUNGER. It's an old team with a serious talent deficiency.Originally Posted by TheGift23

I did not want to be right, man... AT ALL. It was kind of hard not to see it coming though...why else would a division rival do that?
Question is where do we go from here.![]()

This is the most foolish thing I've ever seen you write. Neither one of those goons are going to be the starting QB. McNabb isn't the source of the problem. You have no offensive line, no running game, no receivers, and you have one of the ****tiest defenses in the entire league.Originally Posted by DaJoka004

I rarely agree w. Marley, but he's 100% right....there is no point in keeping an ineffective McNabb under center. Why not see what Grossman or Beck can do in these final 3 games.

I find this utterly hilarious coming from an Eagles fanOriginally Posted by Fade On You

Your franchise SUCKS and will never get out of the ground with that idiot running the show. Anybody without blinders on knew what kind of season the team was going to have. Like somebody else said, either show patience or you should have never traded for McNabb in the first place.
