Ughh hitting my 3 year anniversary with my gf and I'm fresh outta ideas on what to do.. last year I took her to santa cruz and eat shadowbrook...and iforgot wth we did for our first year...any good places for dinner around sf or sj? was thinking alexander's since we always talk about going theresometimes, but i kinda want to surprise her on the place..
suggestions?!

since i'm already at it...anyone know what store is gonna have the hares that are coming out next week.....

i cant sleep either...ive been sleeping at 4-5am everyday for a week now and i need to snap out of it since school just started again and it's about tostart in 2 hours for me..man im screwed..

check out la fondue in saratoga ive been there on a few occasions and its a good spot to try it out

sounds cool...but fondues sounds kinda...ugh...not a cheeeese-chocolate kinda person..neither is my girl...we kinda share that lol......looking for a steakplace or a fancy asian place

Theres grandview restauraunt up Mt. Hamilton. Its ok, not very fancy but it has a great view of San Jose. Might be better to have lunch there if anything...Butuh..

You can do Benihanas, Bucca De Beppo, but I'd really do Original Joes downtown. Food is niiice.

Do you always have to follow the anniversary mold of going out to a fancy dinner? If not, do something different. Maybe make her dinner and go somewhere in thecity where you both will enjoy. Try something new.

I just think the anniversary dinner is way too cliche.

Well, first think of something that YOU know yourself can cook with ease. If you think what you could cook is too plain, then challenge yourselfin cooking a specific dish that your girlfriend loves. If you have a couple of days or even weeks before your special day, then try finding some good recipesfor steak dinners. Pasta is pretty easy to make.

Id take her to Espetus. Real nice place for a date. I suggest you dress up real nice or you'll look out of place. Expect to pay.. i think it was around 45dollars a head for dinner. Brazilian style food FTW.

dont take her to dinner, you'll look repetitive. do somethin else for a change - go to the movies, take her shopping in sf or sj. it wasnt our anniversarybut i hotel'd it with my gf at half moon bay..

dinner: Alexanders in Cupertino! great service for special occasions. Just let them know in advance.

or fly out somewhere - flights are cheap in certain destinations.

depends on your budget....

cooking dinner always works.

Back when I was younger, having dinner at a nice restaurant for an anniversary was the norm. As I got older, the redundancy became boring. I say you gosomewhere out of the area for the weekend. Make reservations for a spot in Monterey and just check out the area. Better yet, spend a weekend at Seascape.

That seascape spot looks interesting... i think i might have to take my girl there for our anniversary in October..i know she'd love it...

might have to reserve a Villa for us... I see that it has a kitchen, so I think i'll put on an apron and cook some dinner..

Worth the time and money to go out there. It's not too far from Santa Cruz either. After the aquarium, just go down Cannery Row and head up tothe Fisherman's Wharf...Tons of great food spots.

I suggest Fisherman's Grotto...They've been there for years.

sounds good, thanks for the lookout

Why not a weekend in Napa or Sonoma? Do a nice little picnic and some wine tasting.

Google Ruth's Chris great steak place from what I've been told then spend the weekend in SF.
