True not that hard....
but who knows if it's 320kb rip from a CD, cause if it's not then it loses quality even if it's 320kbps

there are lossless formats that have compression, like dolby true hd and dts master audio. no quality is lost and is the same quality as uncompressed when decoded.

For what you get in the time you get it, stuff like usenet and rapidshare are worth it. Thinking about a flick then watching it 10 mins later in dvd quality, priceless.

Man i just recently gotten into lossless format and it's a night and day difference for me, to me lossy music doesn't have life and just sounds dry. My subwoofer, I used to think lacked bass, but after using flac my music BOOMED. I pretty much deleted my entire music library and now only have music that has been ripped into a lossless format. The thing with wanting good audio is that it's not cheap' but while it's not cheap they'll last you pretty much forever if you take good care of it.

My boy was telling me that when he first wanted to start djing because he had a whole lot of music that he pirated over the years he told me he gave up because less than a handful of the songs were playable because the rest sounded terrible on real speakers lol

iTunes and the rest of the compressed music fad is also destroying how music is mastered in the studio.
