^this dude kenji714 must be a troll....just think kobe @33 averaging 28ish point per game when mj is 33 his is not only more athletic but also more skill, so it not hard to see that jordan would average at least 30+ points per game this era, and then u put prime time jordan in....the way he attacks the basket its easily 10 extra points. btw jordan would still stay light players up...he drop 41 ptns on shawn mario who lock lebron up during last year's finals. so ur argument is invalid

Jordan IN HIS PRIME would have taken the bobcats all the way. Belleeee dat. It's not just about how many points he would put up. Jordan was a prick who made all his teammates work their #%%@$ off. He would have made the Bobcats better as a whole. It's MJ we're talking about here. I don't care what kobe did with certain guys, or what bron did with certain guys. Jordan is not them and he would have been just as dominant on any team

He'd do numbers but they would more than likely go into the playoffs as a 6th or 7th seed. MJ would avg about 34ppg.

    Jordan > Kobe... BUT

I hate when people make the age comparisons. Kobe has been in the league for damn near 17 years! Playing season games, playoff games, summer/olympic games, all star games... ect.

What was Jordan's averages in his 17th season?

    Troll post.

If you honestly think this, then you know absolutely nothing about the NBA.

At best a 6th seed making it to the second round..

Practically they finish 8th seed and lose 1st round..

It would likely be a mirror image of the Post-Shaq, Pre-Pau Lakers era.

Shawn Marion didn't lock up Lebron. Lebron just didn't show up

And Jordan at age 33 didn't have 3 knee surgeries. Didn't play 7 NBA finals. Didn't play 15 NBA seasons at age 17+ playoff + Olympics etc.

They won't let Jordan drive in . It would be zone defense forcing MJ to either pass or take wild shots

    Get off Jordan nuts .

With the current rules on defense and level of talent, Jordan in his prime averages over 40 and takes any terrible team to at least a top 3-4 seed in their respective conference easily. Not a stretch considering he averaged 37 against tougher defenses.

The whole notion that he averaged 37 against "tougher" defenses is absolutely insane. Nobody played defense in the mid to late '80s/early '90s. Hell, the year Jordan scored 37 per game, the Celtics swept the Bulls in the first round, and the Celts weren't exactly world beaters at that point. So really, what does Jordan's 37 ppg mean? He was a ball hog, plain and simple. The defenses (or lack of) allowed it, and he took advantage.

  11. Mike would average 40 but prob shoot 45%. There isnt a single player on that team you have to guard.

Well, he was 20 a night on 45% shooting when he was 39 years old. Even dropping 40 and 50 on people.

Prime Jordan would be around 35 on above 50% shooting. Might even average 40 since dudes aren't allowed to be as physical on the perimeter anymore

It would be like Lebron's finishing ability around the rim in addition to a great first step, a post game, and a jumper that you have to honor. Good lord.

Bobcats would be out in the first round though

They'd make the playoffs, but they would need more help to make a title run.

38-40 average, easily. Who the hell knows. Not something I want to think about too much.

You realize how much MJ would get the the foul line? He could very well average 40.
