Dont hold your breath, the estate wanted to be hands on from almost every angle. Since the studio said no, the estate said no assistance no music

As far as the estate goes from my understanding its ran by Jimi's step sister who he never really knew. Jimi never had a will so in Washington the estate goes to his father who was obviously estranged from. His father had remarried and when he died left everything to his daughter who never was connected to Jimi before he died. Jimi brother who he grew up with was cut completely out of the estate and had a pretty ugly court battle between the family that knew jimi and this woman and her people.

I personally say **** her and the estate just for the fact that I grew up across the street from the house Jimi grew up in. It was a unofficial landmark as the house had random poems and songs written on the wall by Jimi along with other cool stuff. She tore the house down and they built condos over it
