Dudes used to use code and called it A-town or the A-town stomp. Used to work with a cat that would always beg to do any pickups from our TJ factory because he wanted to stop at A-town on the way back.
I mean it's whatever if you feel safe down there. I've done my share of traveling in Central America and I'm good at this point. If you think Mexico is what's up, go to Panama.You'll think you died and went to heaven.

Mexico is beautiful. At this very moment I would get up and go to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Veracruz, Guanajuato, Puebla, Merida, Chiapas, Oaxaca. So much beauty there and the whole entire big *** country isn't a warzone. Think of all the people that live there, and then you show up for 10 days to walk around and eat street tacos --- you really think something bad is going to happen to you besides mudbutt?
I wouldn't even go to a Walmart here at night but I've walked up and down the streets of Mexico City with a camera around my neck. There's way too many people there for anyone to give a **** about you.
Most of what you said is true and I wouldn't doubt you walked around Mexico City like you said you did, but Mexico City and D.F has ALWAYS been famous for its crime.

I live in San Diego and I've never been to TJ. Always been too shook. I remember back in high school you didn't even need a passport to go and all of my friends would go on the weekend. Back then it was moreso my parents not letting me go than me being too shook to go though
One of my boys, he's mexican, he's having his birthday party down there in some club. He wants me and my wife to go but dude is an idiot. One of those dudes I wouldn't feel safe with down there. Dude be in the clubs down there flashing too much money, buying the live bands buckets of beer, buyin up the bar for strangers, just drawing too much attention. And he about that coke life

I remembered this thread when I saw a 2-Part Doc was on Netflix called “The 43”, so I just watched both back to back. And damn, this whole thing was crazy and goes up pretty far in the government.
These kids hijacked buses to go to a protest but ended up hijacking a bus with millions worth of cocaine in it. The odds of that happening are just so crazy. RIP to all those kids.

Me and alot of my boys been there. Had no issues, just don't recklessly hit on all the women in the clubs/bars. Some people treated me like I was some deity when I went there. And they get flattered when you try to speak Spanish, even if you can't pronounce anything correctly.

A friend of mine almost brawled with some dudes because they were offended by him hitting on a Mexican woman. He understands Spanish so he heard they were even pissed because he was American and Filipino. The worst part was the woman said that she and her friends were single and never even seen the dudes. Envy and racism. I can tell you by personal experience that this isn't every case because I had success without problems, but I see people mean-mugging Americans(mostly obnoxious white dudes) for one reason or another in clubs/bars down there.Why can’t u recklessly hit on the women???
