Pretty much this. And I'm Mexican, if that matters.

But today I'll be celebrating a Clipper win (this is me hoping).

It's the Mexican Fourth of July

mostly what everyone think. People celebrate it and don't even know why. Lmao

My coworker (48 Korean/American) walks into the office today and pats me on the back and says, "Happy cinco de Mayo."

I'm like, we don't even celebrate that. He said, "Isn't it like 4th of July??"

All cultural things get bastardized in some sort of way. Like I love how some none asians drink sake bombs at Japanese restaurants. They do that whole chant and chopstick thing where they hit the tables and I think it is so dumb. Just shoot the damn thing and quit thinking all asians do this when they don't.

I heard that Ireland celebrates Cinco de Mayo heavenly but then again they just look for any excuse to get drunk.
