5 Display PC setup. Pepper thy...

Seems pretty cool, but those lines would be annoying to me.

Crazy that's all from one video card. The display would be nice if, but the frame of the monitors just kills it.

one of the requirements is being a virgin

That's all good, but can you run dual SLI's?

In all seriousness though, you'll need a pretty good job just to afford the power it'll take to run that beast!

Whenever a threadstarter posts a youtube vid, half of the vid screen is cut off because of the dumb block of ads to the right of it. How do I fix that?

The 5 screens sounds like a cool idea but like someone said, all the gaps in the screen would be annoying.

His name is Linus :lol

Thanks. Repped. I thought I had to change something on preferences but nothing was working. :lol

Yeah, I'm actually going to do this on my next build.
Hopefully the bezels are smaller by then though. I'm going to have three monitors.

I'm sitting at 4 right now

My TV is hooked up via HDMI to my machine.

You can make a 6-8 monitor display pretty cheaply with the right cards

I'm at 3 monitors. I have the long HDMI cable to connect to my tv whenever necessary. Running xfire 6970s.

What's the main reason to have more than one monitor?

More resolution and view?

I remember my HS information technology teacher having two monitors but I never asked him why.

Depends on what you do. Some games support huge resolutions, some people like to mulittask with different desktops.

Watch a movie on one, write a paper one another, and browse the web on the other.

It's good for photo/video editing, etc. Just depends on how you use your tequter.

When you buy your 2nd monitor, you can't live without it..

True. You really don't know hat you're missing until you have two monitors. I usually run my email on one and whatever task I'm doing on the other. If I'm doing something boring I'll throw Hulu on the second monitor and watch tv while I'm working.

I can't wait to update my setup. I'm looking to have 2 x 23inches for the home office setup.

Kinda wish we had one of these threads on NT.

I get a lot of inspiration from: reddit.com/r/BattleStations

Plenty have something along these lines. Not as many displays but once you see two you get the gist.
