I was just listening to the Intro of "Guess Who's Back", and he claims he made a million @ 19, and purchased a Mercedes Benz. I know son gotarrested back in 94', but if he was really movin that much weight, wouldn't he have done football numbers? From what I recall he only ended up doin 10months in a Boot Camp or something like that.

there's so many lies in hip hop i think most listeners just except it, but then there's still people that think because no one calls them on their liesthat it must be real..

it sucks when other rappers try to be real and cant because people want fictional stories so bad, then when the real dudes try to talk fictional they getscrutinized.

hes been asked in interviews about how much $$$ he made dealing...and the interviewer said it was reported he was making 80k a month and Fif said it wasnt thatmuch. But even Bang'em has said in the past that odds were u were working for Fif if you dealt in southside

Thats because everyone raps about selling boatloads of coke. It would be hypocritical to call him out on it. Not everyone raps about being shot 9 times tho

Question is, why does it matter? Could care less what all these rappers did in the past, I want them to make good music and spit well.

This is the part of the problem nowadays- folks are more concerned about whether someone is "real" and "hard" than whether they can raptheir way out of a paper bag.

In short, even if he's been completely honest about his past (which is unlikely) 50 still barely passes for decent as a rapper.
