I was able to save up to about 500 then I had to lend it out and never got around to restarting. Will definitely be on this in 2015 and will be doing it backwards.

But I'm employed now, so I'm in for 2015.  Might do it backwards.

Instead of starting at 1 dollar, you start at 52 and go backwards from there.

saved around $500 and ended up using it on a road trip in september. i'm gonna start up again next week and hopefully i can last the whole year. i'll do this challenge and also take out $20 every week to put away in a piggy bank or something.
