Zoom Vick 2 to Return This Summer...

Saw the line sheet yesterday for the Zoom Vick 2 retro. Looks pretty spot on, and I saw the OG white/black/red as well as a white/hunter green/silver Eagles colorway that had a hunter green nubuck toe. I think they were priced at $130.

I owned, and really liked, the 2's back then... nice to see them back.

I'm quite serious. They signed my man Kobe right after his rape charge issue, and held on to Tiger during his man-whoring, back injuries, and the eventual downfall of his career (I don't see a comeback happening). To drop an athlete over dogs and taxes is just stupid. Sure, postpone the line until he returns, but he was too good of an investment to drop. He wasn't banned from the NFL, was still in his prime, and despite having a certain demographic turn against him, he still had a pretty large fan base.

It's been proven, you can still be hated and sell shoes, otherwise this thread wouldn't even exist. There's another guy, while not a felon, half of the planet claims to hate him, yet his sneakers somehow manage to sell out every weekend. Regardless of the price.

I like these and all prior Vick's as well. Always been a MV fan. Sure what he did was awful, but he paid his dues and made his way back. Glad to see hes got a new shoe coming.

Huge fan of the 1's and 2's. Will definitely pick up a few 2's when they go on sale. I used to wear the hell out of the black and white pair. Picked those up for $40. The 3s were and still are trash. They would be fools to bring those back.

I'm honestly happy we're here. One of my thoughts when Vick had his legal issues was I swore we'd never get proper retros of his line. Maybe the sneaker without the 7 or ties to Vick. Can't wait for these and hope the 3 and especially the 1 are next.

Remember the headband the 1s came with? I never wore it but it was cool extra. Lol

Had a pair of the black/reds back in the day. I was hard on those shoes and they were practically indestructible.

I still have a DS pair of the white/yellow/carolina Air Force 1 mids that were released for Vick. Remember buying them at the KC outlet during a F&F for like $30.

Good to see Nike bringing back the Vick line. I wonder if the cleats will follow?

Definitely wouldn't mind a retro of these either while Nike is at it. I wish they never dropped him in the first place.
