Kid Cudi did his thing, and I am one of few who
thinks Wale's album was a good debut as well,
but this album had to be the best debut of an artist
last year, and might even be up there with AOTY material.

With me the album had no real replay value...

There was nothing really BAD about it, but he has the Joell Ortiz effect, where you just don't care to listen to their music on the reg, but you can appreciate them in MODERATION... The ONLY track I listen to is the intro...

With Cudi's album I can listen over and over again...

Had Salvation dropped in 99/2000 I could see myself being a fan, but his style and sound is VERY dated IMO...

He embodies so much of what the OLD New York/East Coast had to offer, but times have changed...

I think thats y I rocks with this album so tuff.
His delivery is nothing to right home about, but
the multi-structure of his lyrics + the beats just
take it to another level. This feels like that real
Hip Hop. I feel like it would rival to something
similar of the NaS & Primo collab album we've
been waiting forever on.

My issue is he's not offering ANYthing I haven't already gotten from damn near EVERY NY rapper since like 94/95...

Sure it feels good to recapture that feeling, but as long as cats is stuck in that mindframe we goin stay in the 90s while other regions continue to evolve...

This album is inner-changable with Simuli's +%@%...
