Yahoo is reporting the same thing now.

He either has the best lawyers money can buy and then some, or he snitched.

He snitched..He a convicted felon that had a ******ed amount of guns,silencers,n i think some of those guns were military grade that are not legal for ANYcivilian to have let alone a felon..n he only doing 12 months for all of that..he snitched..

Vick snitched to get his plea deal..T.I. must of had some very valuable info on other cases to get that deal..

They don't just give people light sentences to be nice, this is the feds. Best believe they would have loved to have taken his !!@ to trial. He gave themsomething, and if the sentence length is correct it must have been something big.

He had to drop names....thats what "plea" agreements are all about....you dont get something for nothing...
You dont have to snitch to plea. Plea bargining is designed to clear the court's docket so that it isnt bogged down with unnecessary cases.Most people who go to jail plea to a lesser crime rather then going through a trial and having the book thrown at them. A plea usually works in favor of thedefendant as well as the court system. Therefore, Plea does not equal snitch.


On the other hand, i dont know how a 3x felon can get off with a year in the feds for having the amount of guns he had. My brother did 8 years in the feds forbeing a felon in a possession of a firearm. Originally, he was looking at a minimum 10 and max of 20 on a conspiracy charge, but pleaded "guilty"to the gun charge so that he could get out in 8. Nowhere in his paper work does it say he snitched...yet he "pleaded guilty"

Whether T.I. snitched (who he would snitiching is unknown to me because he is the boss) or not, is yet to be seen. IF he did in fact tell on people, it willcome to light because that information will be in public records.

Nonetheless, good job spending money on them attorneys TIP. I remember when this story first broke everybody on here was laughing at his attorneys...who isdoing the laughing now?

This is the sh... that amazes me about NT... so what if Tip snitched... duke was facing damn near 12-20 years... so yall telling me that yall would rather havecredibility in the streets than to be a free man and not be in a cell for 12 years. i think most of us prefaced it by saying IF he gets that sentence...but i still want to know what magic powers you guys claim these lawyers have....expensive lawyers can work wonders with GRAY areas, reasonable doubt etc etc...maybe i'm messing something with this case but it looked pretty clear cut....i don't see the wiggle room

and trust im a product of the difference between an expensive lawyer with pull and a regular one

Its not about lawyers having magic powers. Its about the fact that neither you nor I know the intricate details of the case. A good lawyer can bargaindown a sentence if he or she can poke enough holes in the case and the legality of the evidence against their client.

Well he had a Gun Collection before he got bopped by the feds...so im assuming he snitched on the poeple who sold him the other fire arms.....

its called being a FEDERAL INFORMANT..you dont have to snitch on your own case..Mike Vick is a Federal Informant thats how he got the plea deal he got..hehas to snitch on any case that the Feds want him to snitch on..any other case that Vick knows something about he has to snitch..

its very possible that dudes like T.I. and Vick because of who they are and the amount of money they have, meet(in clubs,etc) and know street dudes/kingpinswho are very high up in the food chain that they could become informants on..

lol... i used to think the same @!*%... its different degrees of felonies... u gotta have 3 felony 1's if im not mistaken...

no i think 3 felonies in general get u life. Felony charges are a whole nother level.

But on the issue with T.I. I dont think 1 year is accurate. they throw people in jail longer for tax ivasion(sp?) So I think he gonna get a lil more timethan that. he aint even turn himself in yet so how do people even know this info. Also people are talkin bout the lawyers are great that he has. Now i dontknow T.I. business like that but I dont think he had that kinda money. He had to get help from his record company in order to get outta jail so how he come upwith the money for a good lawyer. And if this lawyer is really that good im sure he cost mad bread. like so much that the lawyer prolly gonna get royaltychecks from his next album to pay it off. Now i dont know any info on this what so ever like anyone else. So all we can do is speculate the truth abouteverything will come out within the nexct couple weeks or days. But i aint hatin on anyone elses theory all we can do is speculate. I just hope dude put moneyup for his wife and kids on some real talk. Cause it would be sad if they life got messed up by this situation. and his wife had to come outta retirement andstart singin again.
