A Flash Mob?

Has anyone heard of this? Flash mob?
Apparently hundreds of people all wait for the same text message or whatever and when they get it, they all suddenly appear in the same public place 

Dude said someone's seminar got flash mobbed. 300 people just came in and stood there... then dispersed

I mean... this concept might not be revolutionary in 2010... but i was

last night and this was, and still is one of the most interesting things ive ever seen.

that video posted was incredible..

but yeah, i guess you are part of the organization and they give you a heads up when its going down.
