This is the video. It's a bad fall.

The fact that Alonzo has come back to the NBA with only one kidney and still goes out there blocking shots from limited minutes is just remarkable.
''I felt like I slipped on something,'' Mourning said. ``It happened so quick.''
Forward Udonis Haslem rushed to Mourning's side.

'I went to help him up and he said, `It's over. It's over,' '' Haslem recalled.

Said Heat coach Pat Riley: ``It's not good.''

Get well Alonzo.

If he's done even from a Knicks fan Zo is MUCH appreciated

Pretty sad, if hes done that pretty much all of the 90s stars, unless MJ comes back

I hope Alonzo stays close to basketball. I don't know if he is interesting in teaching the game, but he's clearly one of the best defenders in NBAhistory. I'm writing this letter in my head.

Dear Alonzo,

Teach me. Get my fat*%%$ in shape.

Sincerely,

Mr. C

I met Zo in Jamaica a minute ago...nice guy. I was a fan while he was at Georgetown, I was a fan when he was a beast for the Charlotte Hornets alongside LarryJohnson, I was a fan when he played for the Heat, and I will always be a fan of Zo. He's one of the hardest workers in the league and did whatever he couldto continue playing after his kidney transplant. I don't care about how he didn't want to play for whoever. I wouldn't want to either towards thetwilight of my career.

Anyways...glad I didn't accept to trade Jason Richardson/Louis Williams for Deng and Zo just 2 days ago.

A true but very annoying warrior has left the game. I wish him a very happy life, but truth be told, now that he's made enough money not to worry about itfor the rest of his life, I am happy that he is away from basketball.

Alonzo Mourning (33) tore the patellar tendon in his right knee against Atlanta, but refused to be taken off the court on a stretcher.

"That's not the way I envisioned myself walking off the court for the last time in my career," he said. "I've been through so much in my life. If I had to crawl off the court I would have. Nobody was going to push me off on a stretcher off the court. That wasn't going to happen."

That's a true fighter with pride.

Man. Sad to see him go. Another star I grew up watching is now gone. I can remember the days with him as a hornet. Classic days....

Good riddance.

here is the complete Zo quote
