? About the 2011 blake griffins pe hyperdunks.

I received them for a gift the neon red with the grey bottoms. Question I was seeing a pic of griffin in the dunk contest and he had something black on the upper part of the shoe. Like a ankle support nike made for him. Did he wear the same shoe style I received ????

He didn't wear 2011 Hyperdunks @ the dunk contest.
Still a very nice shoe nonetheless. Still need to get myself a pair.
