Anybody have any tips to help me better retain information for my intermediate 1 course. I find it almost impossible at times to understand and reember all thesteps. Any advice NT accountants and auditors?

Study. Do Practice problems. Ask for solution sets for your textbook and use your textbook student companion site they usally have power-points and practicequizes. I don't remember crap from intermediate tho.

what do you need help on? just retaining info? just do practice problems, even though they are repetetive they help a lot and the problems will become secondnature to you. remember the equations and stuff and right when you get your quiz/ test just write it down on the test, or better yet, write it on the scantronor answer sheet beforee you even start.
