Acer Aspire Timeline 13" and 14" who got one? vol. 8+ hour battery life

Acer has a 600-700$ laptop in 13.3" without an optical drive at 3.5lbs, 14" with DVD burner at 4.2 lbs. Both under an inch thick, Both with HDMI,wireless N, bluetooth on some models, and either an intel or AMD processor with a special cooling system that circulates the air so it doesn't heat up yourlap. But most importantly the 13, 14 and 15 inch models all boast a 8+ hour battery life off 6 cells. Vista premium with the Win7 upgrade.

It's not ideal for gaming but that's not what I need it for.

tested the 13" with intense video and the battery lasted 5 hours 20 minutes, damned impressive.




Does anyone have one and want to share their experience to help me out in my decision?

Those look cool but I wouldn't pay that much for something with a AMD processor in it.

get it they look cool and not that expensive

looks like the intel core 2 solo is the more common processor, I'm shopping them at different sites and don't see many AMD, but the acer site mentionsits available.
