Depends on your state. I just looked at californias lottery website and it looks like 10 is the highest you guys have.
My state currently has 4 20 dollar games and 2 50 dollar games, along with various 1, 2, 5 and 10 dollar games too.
bigger tickets obviously have better prizes
Tips:
Look up the games and odds and number of winning tickets still out there on your states lottery site.
Buy in bunches. don't buy 4 tickets and have all 4 be different games. If you buy 4 tickets, buy all 4 from the same roll, from the same game. (for this reason i don't play EVERY week)
Try different locations, just me, but i don't think at the end of the day it makes a big difference.
Stay away from the 1 and 2 dollar games.
If you got friends, split the costs of how every many tickets you wanna buy. you can either double your amount of tickets or cut your losses in half depending on how you want to look at it. if you win you split, you don't really lose.
other than that just hope the guy at the gas station gave you a jackpot type ticket
