I'm not feeling this "cage" at all.

Plus I don't understand what's so special about the Olympic uncaged pair. If no one would have mentioned them to be an "athlete exclusive" pair, no one would care about them. 
 
To be honest, nothing has really amazed me lately in terms of UBs... The last pair I ordered are the MCs but nothing else has caught my eye. All the uncaged models are pretty meh, and I feel like the Olympic pack is pretty lazy too.

Choclates would have been cool if they came here but I think I'm out until the next collab or 2017 knit.

In all honesty, nothing has been totally amazing this year since it seems they have gotten rid of the og knit.

however, if you are an UB enthusiast, there are a few pairs this gradient szn that are worth a cop.

Adding variety is key now, especially in the UB genre since I am not really a fan of the NMD and have already copped a lot of the CWs in 1.0 knit I like.
 
Actually I'll consider the burgundy uncaged but only if they come with that gum sole, otherwise scrap.

  Aside from my white uncaged, interestingly enough double up on my creams was my last UB purchase.

I've been wearing mine for the past week as well and I must say Uncaged are the more comfortable of the two. Still a fan of both since they do have a different silhouette.

I don't get the irritation (Lisfranc joint) as often as I do with some caged UB pairs in the image below.

The only discomfort I do have is in the heel collar seam as most have experienced. However a taller ankle sock seems to alleviate that problem.

Ahh so that's what it's called. Good to know I'm not the only person with that issue in caged UBs

Do you guys get insoles from a specialist or just one off the shelves? And does it help with discomfort in that joint?

I just use the UB insole. No need to invest in more aftermarket insoles since i already dropped $180+ on UBs

It's not a big discomfort, just one that is noticeable if I were to critique any negatives about UBs. It only happens for me if I do some major walking for 5+ hours.

So much this bro. You guys keep posting the olives side by side. Trust me if you put a pair of olive 2.0 on your feet and looked down, you'd vomit. But sure from the side, the ugly gradient is well hidden.

Also magic johnson no look pass on those "X"

man they look hideous from the top. but GSG said it...agree to disagree! I hope everyone who copped their 2.0's is enjoying them.

I have the OG's and to me, the two aren't even similar.

I liked the uncaged olives but then realized the uncaged just isn't for me. I didn't dislike because i have the OG's. Its two completely different shoes.
 
If they had that shade of Olive on the OG knit, with yellow/gold cross stitch vs that orange, that would be the winner.

My opinion, the best monochromatic gradients are the royals and these olives.

For the multiple colored gradients, solar red and MCs.

Everything else is pretty mediocre for me.

I think we were more concerned with people constantly just posting the side pics. IF you're gonna compare 1.0 v 2.0, you gotta show all the angles not just one side pic purposely taken to hide the gigantic johnson on the pattern. That's all we sayin son!

But I'm sure people will keep reminding everyone until these '17 knits finally drop
